Freegal Music gives you access to millions of songs from over 10,000 labels including the Sony Music catalog. This revolutionary database is now offered
at your Iberia Parish Library, and it’s absolutely FREE with your library card.
How Freegal Music Works: Each library patron has a 3 song download limit per week. You will be
able to keep track of your downloads in the upper right corner of the site.
Every song has a sample clip you can listen to before you download. The downloads on this site are all in the MP3 format with no DRM. This
service will work with any MP3 player, including iPod, and can be loaded into iTunes. It works on both PCs and Macs.
Check out the new mobile apps for iOS and Android devices!
The link is on the library’s home page and database page,
www.iberia.lib.la.us, and needs no software installation. It is 100% internet based, and you can access it from home, the library, or any other place that
has an internet connection. For more information on this free service, you can always call the Main Library at 364.7024.
Just a friendly reminder to look out for Summer ‘13 Workshop Booklets coming in April. This year is sure to be one for the books! So make sure you
and your child get a Booklet and pick out their favorite Iberia Parish Summer Workshops. A special thanks to our sponsors who include Teche
Federal Bank, Cox Communications, New Iberia Optimist Club, Friends of the Library and your Iberia Parish Library. Let’s ‘dig’ into the fun!
