1 Login to the IBM Co-Marketing Center via PartnerWorld, auto-redirect using Single Sign on

2 First time profile setup: Upload your company logo in your Business Partner Profile in CMC

Step 1: Login to the IBM Co-Marketing Center via PartnerWorld

• Access the IBM Co-Marketing Center at: www.ibm.com/partnerworld/page/pw_ com_cfm_index

• Select “Visit the IBM Co-Marketing Center”. You will be redirected to the IBM Co-Marketing Center powered by Pitney Bowes.site.

• The Single Sign-On Login feature will present you with the CMC welcome screen customized for you.

Step 2: Upload your company logo in your profile (1 time setup only)

• Company Profile is based on Company Name, Address from PPS• Complete your CMC Create and Design profile by uploading your company Logo.• Uploaded Business Partner Logo will be pre-populated into Customable templates

From the CMC Home page …

Select Administration > Business Partner Maintenance > Business Partner Logo Upload

Upload Logo file.

File types accepted: jpg, tif, gif, png, pdf, or eps

Resolution must be AT LEAST 300 dpi.

Width to height aspect ratio of 2 to 1. (ex. 2" by 1")

Step 3: Find, Select & Customize your templateThere are 4 methods available to find and select your templates

1. Select from the newest templates at the bottom of the Co-Marketing Homepage.

2. Select from the drop down menu on the main menu bar.

3. Use the advanced search capabilities on the middle left-hand side of the screen.

4. Enter a key word search in the Quick Search box located in the upper right-hand corner of the Co- Marketing Center.

Click “Customize” to continue

Step 4: Customizing a direct mail template1. Customize all boxes on each page

Select BP Emblem Partner level image

Logo auto-populates if loaded in system

2. Click Continue or Save As Draft button; advance to next confirmation screen.

Often overlooked is the Legal Disclaimer on lower back of templates. Remove if none.

Step 4: Customizing an email template 1. Customize all dotted boxes on each page

Add company specific messaging

Highlight Unique capabilities

Offers or Call to action

Select BP Emblem Partner Level image

Remove Legal Disclaimer if none.

2. Send a Preview/test of email to colleagues for review

3. Click Continue to complete customization and submit for approval, or Save As Draft to finish later

4. Confirm button on next page

Additional detail on customizationCustomizable graphic and text areas are designated with a dotted line. To customize, use your left-hand

mouse button and select an area. The window will open and you can enter text or update your own graphics.

Many templates also allow you to modify an existing image or insert your own images!

Note: you can change the appearance of the fonts and add hyperlinks in email templates by selecting the text and highlight the attribute to apply (font, size, color, hyperlink, etc)

Step 5: Submit customized template for Approval

1. Click on Asset thumbprint to preview

2. When customization is complete, click Continue and submit asset for approval.

A note on approvals:All templates are reviewed by a designated IBM approver to ensure appropriate messages and consistency with IBM brand guidelines.Approvals take approximately 3 business days, by 2 teams, PB & IBM.During this time, you may access, edit and modify the artwork. However you will need to resubmit changes for approval prior to placing an order.

Step 6: Access your “Image Archive” of customized assets

View all Images Created by your firm Navigation: Resources > My Campaigns > Image Archive

Each saved instance of a template is called an “Image” and has a unique ImageID

Clicking the thumbnail opens a full size preview of the template.

Copy & Edit pulls in existing customization and allows new edits.

Modify pulls in existing customization for edit/overwrites.

Click Send Draft to send a preview of a submitted print template to a colleague

Status indicates where the image is in the approval queue or if it is “In Process” (draft)

Once templates are approved

Click Order to work with an approved email or direct mail piece

Step 7: Upload your lists Managing your master lists and sublists

• CMC Maintains Master lists and Sublists (for Print), and Email Master Lists and Email sublists of your client email and client mail lists

• All records in a sublist is automatically added to your master list• Use the List Management Tool to upload your client lists and to edit lists already uploaded

Additional detail on List Management – Uploading a new listWork with client lists:

Master and Sublists for Print / Direct Mail

Email Master and Email Sublist for email

Choose from 4 list types: 2 for Print (Master & Sublist) or 2 for Email (Master & Sublist)

Upload lists are Excel spreadsheets that contain the necessary data fields to send either a print or email order.

If your list contains separate first and last name columns, simply add a new column, use the Excel Concatenate function to join the first and last names together for the tool.

Country is a required field, add this column to your spreadsheet if missing.

Empty cells will cause the upload to stop on that row/record. Place either Generic data for names like “IT Manager” in every cell.

Additional detail on List Management – Uploading a new list

Check the Box “First Row Has Headings”

Match the required field in leftmost column to your column name in Column 2

Optionally, name this list for future reference

Save the list. CMC counts the number of records and calculates the print cost.

Email lists only require Full Name, Email Address

Confirm the data field mapping based on your column headers

In cases where the column headers are not an exact match, you must select the mapping

Additional detail on List Management – Managing Sublists

You can upload and maintain multiple and separate sublists

If you delete details from a sub list the record still remains on the master list.

Master list deletions will carry through to all sublists

Individual records can be flagged for Opt-Out status directly by the business partner

– Select PB Vendor - Email – Select from Master or Email Sublist client lists– Follow menu prompts to schedule email send date, complete order, View Cart and Check Out

Step 8: Submit your order for printPrint Delivery options:1) Download the PDF print file for local printing 2) Email the final asset to local vendor for production3) Order Printed asset through your regional printer:

Choose Direct Mail, Bulk Shipments or a combination of Direct Mail and Bulk. (If no vendor name appears under Option 3, a local vendor is not setup in the tool and you should use Download or Email for your finished print PDF.)

Click through the menus to choose your print deliver options, select your lists (if applicable), make bulk quantity selections and schedule shipments

Select Resources > My Campaigns > Image Archive > Select approved Print Asset with Order Button
