The aim of the competitions is to provide students with a stimulating challenge and give them feedback on their performance. The letter is of a quality suitable for inclusion in a portfolio and is a useful aid for pointing out studentsʼ strengths and weaknesses. Certificates are awarded to every student. We have had several pupils from our school awarded High Distinction Certificates and medals, which means they have been placed in the top 1% in New Zealand for their age level. If your child wants to do these tests and would like to practise a competition, then past papers can be obtained by ordering from the EAA website. Follow the links to International Competitions and Assessments For Schools or email using the details below. We do not have practice papers available at school.
