    Warmer:

    A simple and short activity to introduce classroom language at the beginning o the year! At

    the beginning o the year I wanted my students to be introduced to the classroom language I

    e"pected them to use or the rest o the year! #his is the activity they had to do!

    In pairs they make up a dialogue including these phrases and act them out in ront o the class$

    Later we wrote all that classroom language on posters that we put up on the walls!

    Icebraker:

    #his is a un way to make your students talk like they would talk in a daily lie , improvising

    dialogues! #hey work in groups with dierent topics chosen by you or their class mates! It

    stimulates to use the vocabulary they have( practice it and make conversations they would in

    daily lie! It is also great to have un activities in class!

    In this speaking e"ercise you ask students to come to the ront and do a little drama- dialogue!

    Procedure $

    .! Prepare small cards with dierent characters /e"ample( pop band singer /0,12( a an( a

    police man2 or you can ask your students to give the plot o situation /i you have creative

    students2

    0! Ask a number /according to number o characters2 come in ront and using a lottery

    choose their character

    1! I level o +nglish is low( give ew minutes( not more than 3( to prepare( so they know

    what they will do!

    4! Let them improvise5

    Cool Down:

    Divide players into teams( depending on the number o students you have! Ask them to think

    about the uture and what they wish to have! #hen they will be the inventors5 Ask them to

    give name to their inventions and to make an accurate and interesting description!!! and above

    all( do not orget the price5 'nce the task( get them to e"pose to their classmates!
