About the Conference (ICHSM 2020) We, the Department of Physics has successfullyorganized 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th , 6th, 7th, and 8thNational Conference on Hierarchically StructuredMaterials from the year 2013 sponsored by variousGovernment funding agencies such as DST-SERB, CSIR,DRDO, BRNS, DBT and Science City, Chennai. Resourcepersons from BARC – Mumbai, NPL – New Delhi, IISc &JNCASR – Bangalore, NIT – Warangal, IITM – Chennai,IGCAR – Kalpakkam, Anna University, University ofMadras, Bharathidasan University and CECRI –Karaikudi delivered plenary and invited talks. Delegatesfrom various educational and research institutionsparticipated and presented their research work. On duewith overwhelming response, we are motivated toorganize such a type of conference in series. Hence, it isproposed to conduct First International Conference onHierarchically Structured Materials (ICHSM 2021)”.ICHSM 2021 focuses on dissemination of informationabout the recent advances and fundamentals in advancedmaterials. It provides a platform for knowledge sharingamong the students, researchers and academicians acrossthe nation in the field of applied sciences.
