POINTS SYSTEM
The driver earns all points for each event, not the car. Points
will be awarded for the feature asfollows: (SPEEDWEEK OVERALL HIGH
POINT WILL EARN $1000 BONUS) HEAT/DASH WIN = 2PTS.

Drivers who do not qualify for the feature will receive 65 DNQ
points. A driver must make one lap on
the track in their car under its own power to receive DNQ
points. If an event is canceled after the heatraces and the event
lineup remains set and is rescheduled, regular points will apply.
If an event incanceled after warm-ups and the event in not
rescheduled or is completely reset all racers will beawarded '50'
show up points for that event.
BEHAVIOR / CONDUCTDrivers are responsible for their actions as
well as that of their car owner & crew members, etc.
Anyoneassociated with a car going into another pit area, scale
area, inspection area or anywhere on the speedwaygrounds where a
disturbance is reported will be considered the initiator, and the
driver/car associated will be heldaccountable. Fighting, contact
with event or sanction officials, etc. will not be tolerated and
will result indisqualification, loss of prize money and points.
Additional punitive action may include, but not be limited
tobarring from EDGE events, loss of EDGE license, point moneys and
contingency awards, and if necessary, legal
action.
ADVERTISING / PROMOTION RELEASEIcon Memorial Tour, its duly
authorized agent and assigns, is hereby granted the right of uses
of the applicantsname, likeness and photographs of the applicant or
the applicants car(s), taken during the event, in any mediumor
material, for promoting, advertising, recording, or reporting any
Icon Memorial Tour / EDGE sanctionedevent(s), including but not
limited to television, and radio broadcasts, film production, video
tape productions, anddo hereby relinquish all rights thereto for
these purposes.
DISCLAIMERThe ICON Memorial Tour Speedweek is intended to permit
racers to participate in larger paying events,strengthen class
participation for tracks, and provide and entertaining show for the
public. Race teams areencouraged to put their best efforts forward
in the attempt to be ambassadors for the sport! This INCLUDESSocial
Media, please tell all about your event but negative social media
slander can result in disqualification. The
Icon Tour officials event participation is limited to car
construction rule enforcement, compile the event results,market the
race events and its participants, and to aid the host track in
providing an efficient and entertainingevent.
