BASKETBALL - SKILLS

• Dribbling: dribbling refers to the maneuvering of a ball under the control of a single player in a given direction.

• Passing: A pass consists of an intentional transfer of the ball from one player to another of the same team. bounce pass and chest pass.

• Shooting: I rather explain this myself, because explanations are far more complicated.

• Laying up: A layup in basketball is a two-point shot attempt made by leaping from below, laying the ball up near the basket, and using one hand to bounce it off the backboard and into the basket.

1. Point guard: also known as the one, is typically the team's best ball handler and passer.

2. Shooting guard: besides being able to shoot the ball, shooting guards tend to have good ball handling skills and the ability to drive the ball to the net, often creating their own shots off the dribble

3. Small forward: the small forward position is considered to be perhaps the most versatile of the main five basketball positions.
