Dear Recruiter,

It gives me immense pleasure in presenting before you the 164 students of our PGDM 2012 - 14 Batch. They either have a PGDM with specializations in Marketing, Finance, HR, or a PGDM in Finance, or in International Business.

All of them are available for our unique Industry Internship Program (IIP) from 28th of October, 2013 till end of March, 2014. This is followed by a full time placement season from April 2014 onwards.

The 6 months IIP being an integral part of the curriculum, transforms our student into a “business-ready” young manager. Our curriculum is up to date with a clear mix of classical and contemporary courses across functional specializations. The academic exposure, followed by industry intensive IIP gives an edge to our programs.

Industry feedback about our IIP has been very positive over the past �ve years. The organizations were able to closely observe the quality of our students and their ability to deliver results during the internship period. This has resulted in a high degree of conversion into �nal placements over the years..

Another key di�erentiator at IFIM is our Personality Enhancement Program (PEP), which helps groom all our students in the areas of life-skills, lifestyle and wellness.

A unique 6 months on-the-job training, real-time work and quality experience program wherein the students:• Work in organizations full-time, for a period of 6 months• Work under the guidance of a Faculty Mentor and a Industry Mentor• Are guided by, monitored by and report to the Industry Mentor of the organization

where the student is pursuing her / his internship• Submit a detailed ‘project report’ to both the Faculty Mentor and the Industry Mentor

on completion of the IIP (graded by the institution and industry and adding to the �nal score for award of Post-Graduate diploma) by IFIM

Students eligible for employment by organizations, under the following conditions:• Successful completion of academic course requirements• Submission of Industry Internship Project report and its acceptance and grading by

faculty in collaboration with Industry Mentor of the organization• First offer accepted by students as ‘final placement’, and confirmed to the recruiting

organization, to be sacrosanct for, and binding, on the student• The entire selection / recruitment process on campus will be coordinated by our

Placement Department and all requisite support / facilities / 3-way communication / co-ordination shall be handled by the same department. Both on-campus (institution) and off-campus (organization’s location) recruitment processes are feasible options
