Type PMP now with ATEX approvalThe PMP series which already communicates via theestablished bus system Pro�bus PA has now been com-plemented by new sensors with ATEX approval for thecategories 1G and 1/2D.The PMP type distinguishes itself by its high accuracy of0.2 %, improved temperature decoupling, electronic tem-perature compensation and hygienic design. The newpressure transmitter as an advanced product of the PMseries o�ers extended diagnostic capabilities via the Pro-�bus PA.To ensure this, the unit carries out self-tests while inoperation. The diagnosis status can be polled cyclicallyor acyclically via the Pro�bus master.
