27-Mar Building Committee Highlights:/27-Mar Comité de edificio: Our volunteer work crew is progressing as best they can with their busy schedules. The current target is to ‘dry in’ the deck space in the next two weeks. Tim has drafted an updated Parish Self Study and Needs Assessment which will be reviewed by the Committee before our next meeting. Video systems with indoor/outdoor camera were discussed. Ed will be purchasing a system to monitor the inside and exterior of the Church with 8 cameras for about $300. On the crawlspace project, which includes French Drain, site survey review, site drainage, gutters, waterproofing options for the crawlspace and finally flooring; the next steps are to install gutters pending deck enclosure. Several options were discussed to upgrade the playground equipment. Discussions included a possible purchase of a new play set from Sam’s Club or another wholesale club with options for rubber mulch around the play area. The Commit-tee will continue discussions on the playground area at our next meeting. The air conditioning system seems to be unable to adequately cool the Church. Several options were discussed to better cool the Church. We will continue those discussions at our next meeting. Next Meeting: 22-May 7-8PM. En el proyecto de espacio bajo la iglesia, que incluye el drenaje francés, revisión de la localización, drenaje del terreno, goterones, opciones de impermeabilización para el espacio rastrero y finalmente los pisos.
