WHO IS WISTA ADDRESSED TO
• Women in decision making/ executive positions
• With experience in shipping
• Willing to exchange knowledge, ideas, contacts and develop new business relationships

MISSION
• WISTA is a networking organization for women at management level or with decision making positions in the maritime industry.
• WISTA shall facilitate the exchange of contacts, information and experiences among its members (i.e. networking and knowledge sharing)
• WISTA shall promote and facilitate education of its members
• WISTA shall provide a liaison with other related institutions and organizations worldwide

WISTA NETWORK• 27 NWAs (National WISTA Associations)
worldwide• 1200 members• Potential new countries are Cyprus, Australia,
New Zealand, Argentina, Chile, Malaysia, Trinidad, Ghana, Djibouti, Cameroon, Cap Verde and People’s Republic of China.
• Opportunity to meet once a year in a different country (annual conference)
• ExCo visiting one NWA every year for the Spring meeting (France/ Italy/ Spain/Turkey)
