II International Conference Language, Literature, Wine and Territory The verses of poets who drink water will not survive *Vercelli, Università del Piemonte Orientale. 24 to 27 September 2019
Both Università del Piemonte Orientale (Vercelli, Italia) and Universidad de La Rioja (Logroño, Spain) announce the II International Conference on Language, Literature, Wine and Territory: «Wine, teach me all my history».
This second edition of the Conference has the ambition to bring together recognized scholars, both from Italian and Spanish universities, as well as from other countries, and to encourage young people to present work on specific research lines.
The celebration of this II International Conference on Language, Literature, Wine and Territory aims to promote collaboration between the University and other institutions of the respective wine-growing regions that share the interest in Language and Literature.
Lope wrote in his famous tragicomedy Peribáñez y el comendador de Ocaña:
Ni el vino blanco imagino de cuarenta anos tan fino como tu boca olorosa: que como el señor la rosa le güele al villano el vino. (Act I, vv. 56-60).
With this sentence we invite you to present your researches whose theme revolves about wine and its culture.
