IIBA Academic Membership & Recognition Programs
TheInternationalInstituteofBusinessAnalysis(IIBA)AcademicMembershipProgramprovidesanopportunityforcollegesanduniversitiestoforgeastrongpartnershipwithIIBAfortheadvancementoftheprofessionofbusinessanalysis.ThegoalofIIBAistocreateawinwinrelationshipwithourAcademicMembersandprovidethemwiththeproductsandservicestoofferindustryrecognizedcurriculatotheirstudentsandallowtheirstudentstoaccessthemanybeneitsofIIBAmembership.
TheIIBARecognitionProgramwillrecognizestudentsenrolledinundergraduateand/orgraduateprogramsrelatedtobusinessanalysisfortheknowledgetheyhavegainedinthisdiscipline.TheIIBAAcademicCertiicateinBusinessAnalysisprogramprovidesanopportunityforanyoneconsideringacareerinbusinessanalysistogainacomprehensiveunderstandingoftheBArole.Itisdesignedforpeoplewhohavenopriorbusinessanalysisexperience.StudenwhosuccessfullycompletethecoursewillbeawardedacertiicatefromIIBA.Studentsgainanadvantageintheircareers,andhaveaclearpathtowardsfutureprofessionalcertiicationinbusinessanalysis.
TheIIBADiplomaProgramisstillunderdevelopment.

AcademicMembershipRequirementsInbecominganAcademicMember,theeducationalinstitutionmakesthefollowingcommitments:
Aminimumof10individuals(students,faculty,and/orstaff)attheinstitutionwill
registerforIIBAmembership.Tocontinuetoreceivethememberdiscountaftertheirs
yearofenrolment,theuniversityorcollegewillberequiredtomaintainaminimumof
10IIBAmembers.
Thediscountcodeprovidedtotheinstitutionwillonlybegiventostudentsenrolledinbusinessanalysisrelatedcoursesandprogramsandtheirfaculty,aswellasinstitution
staff.
Onceeachyear,theinstitutionwillreviewthelistofindividualsusingtheinstitutions
discountcodeandadviseIIBAofanyindividualsnoteligibletousethediscountcode.
TheinstitutiongrantsIIBAtherighttoidentifytheinstitutionasanIIBAAcademic
Member,includingpostingtheinstitutionslogoontheIIBAAcademicMembershipweb
page.
HowtoBecomeanAcademicMember
Contact IIBA by email [email protected] stating the name of
your institution, the
name of your Academic Membership contact, and that you agree to
abide by the
requirements of Academic Membership as outlined in this
document.
IIBA will provide your institution with a discount code. This
discount code is valid for
one year, and you will receive a new code upon renewal of your
Academic Membership.
Distribute the discount code to students, faculty, and staff who
wish to join IIBA.
Students and faculty then visit the IIBA website atwww.IIBA.org,
click on Join,
complete the registration form including identifying their
institution in the Employer
ield and the discount code, and pay the member fee by credit
card.
