MOTIVATION 2
Wide range of industries such as:
• Chemicals• Petrochemicals• Cement• Glass• Food & Beverage• Paper• Metal
generate tremendous amount of heat throughout there production process
…Yet, this can be a great source for on-site power generation
→ Heat Recovery System (HRS)
ORC – ORGANIC RANKINE CYCLE - HRS3
1) Hot water (thermal oil) enters the evaporator to heat the ORC system working fluid (organic fluid).
2) High-pressure, hot, vaporized working fluid (organic fluid) then enters the power module and drives a turbine to produce electrical power.
3) Low-pressure, expanded vapor cycles through a condenser where it is cooled by cooling water and condensed into liquid form while heating up the cooling water 4) The cooled liquid is then sent to the pump, boosted in pressure and sent back to the evaporator to repeat the cycle.
ORC – ORGANIC RANKINE CYCLE - HRS4
