Introduction
Introduction:Considering the present situation of Afghanistan and keeping in mind the role of education and the millennium development goals (MDGs) and in the Afghan National Development Strategy (ANDS), education is one of the most important goals of the Government Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRA) in private and public sector.
Reason for Establishment:In response to the increasingly rising demand for high quality education in Afghanistan and the development and delivery of capacity building and enhancement courses for different entities BAKHTAR University was established in 2005 as a first and founder of private higher education in Afghanistan.
Our Teaching Faculties:The University faculties are mix of internationally and nationally recruited academics with extensive teaching and research experience. They bring years of knowledge gained from research in their respective field into class room providing students with a stimulating academic environment.
Facilities:BAKHTAR University has a well stocked library with a wide and variety of essential books. Journals of Economics, Engineering, Law, Journalism, Business week and many other, modern classes equipped with multimedia projectors, prime location, cafeteria, Wifi internet facility for students, peaceful location. Quiet and open areas for studies. Gymnasium and sport complex, transportation for lectures over and above. The University has student society which arranges excursions and many interesting student activities.

Introduction:The Bachelor of Business Administration undergraduate degree program seeks to educate students in the science of Business Administration. All courses within the program are designed for a rapidly changing world with innovation, market-relevance, flexibility and an international focob at their core. The program builds a bridge between the academic environment and the world outside. The program is intended to prepare students with a good grounding in various fields of business studies such as economics, accounting & finance, management, and marketing. The program equips graduates with the ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex business problems. The mission of the Bachelor of Business Administration degree program is to provide for students a broad general education and the necessary business knowledge and skills, to prepare students for entry-level positions in organizations, and to stimulate in students a desire for life-long learning. There are four majors (specializations) within the degree, Management, Finance & Accounting, Marketing and Economics For all four majors, the program of study is common until the end of second year. Bachelor of Business Administration degree will prepare you to learn to manage people, money, brands, information, technology, factories, strategies and every other key to running a business. This degree will prepare you to work in businesses like a mechanic works on a car; they examine each part to see how it runs, analyze and tune financial performance, suggest “repairs,” and help others understand how everything works. Individuals with an in-depth knowledge of Business Administration and high standards of integrity are consistently in high demand.

Progression Opportunities:Many students use this qualification as an entry requirement for Higher Education. Successful completion of the course can enable students to develop a career in their chosen area of business administration.
Duration and Program Requirements:The BBA degree program is extended over a period of four academic years with a total of 8 semesters. During each year two semesters are offered. Each semester is of 5 Months duration. A student of BBA must earn a total of 135 credit hours including both in the core courses of the program and for the specialized courses. Credit Hours of BBA Program: Courses , 135 credit Hours (49 subjects) Include workshop, seminar and project.Recognition:This program is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan. As BAKHTAR University has international affiliation, It is fully recognized internationally to further education and possible employment opportunities in the private and public sector.
Eligibility:The candidate seeking admission in bachelor program must have a 12 grades or equivalent qualification with at least 70 % marks from any recognized school.

OVERVIEWComputer science touches virtually every area of human endeavor. Software is responsible for everything from the control of kitchen appliances to sophisticated climate models used in predicting future environmental change. Students in computer science learn to approach complex problems in business, science, and entertainment using their strong backgrounds in mathematics, algorithms, and data structures.
Computer science majors are trained to think creatively, to solve complex problems, and to communicate with clarity and precision. Upon successful completion of the computer science program, graduates are actively recruited by major computer corporations, commercial software companies, and research institutions. In addition, graduates are sought after by employers in other fields, including graphics and animation, business, health, and banking. The degree programs in the Computer Science Faculty at Bakhtar University prepare students to be confident programmers, communicators, and problem solvers, training them for entrance into new areas where their skills will have increasingly significant impacts. Current national forecasts predict that a favorable market for technology-related jobs will continue well into the next decade.
The degree programs in the Computer Science Faculty at Bakhtar University prepare students to be confident software developers and technical problem solvers. Bakhtar University computer science graduates are known for solid preparation in the fundamental principles of the discipline. In addition to the core computer science courses, students are given the opportunity to broaden their analytical and scientific skills by completing course work in physics, statistics, and mathematics. This knowledge is then applied as students study the deep theoretical underpinnings of the science in class and in laboratory work, associated with most courses. This broad foundation gives students the power to maintain their skills and functionality in the rapidly changing world of technology.
CONTINUING EDUCATION INFORMATION
Students seeking advanced positions or careers in research or teaching can further their studies by enrolling in a computer science master's or doctoral program. Students in graduate programs take more advanced computer science classes and

conduct research projects. Computer scientists are typically required to complete a doctoral program.
Computer science students completing a bachelor's degree program participate in course work covering operation systems, software engineering, and more. In addition, students also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of ways.
Successful BS applicants typically possess a Higher Secondary School diploma/certificate. Specifically, the BS program in Computer Science maintains the following minimum requirements for admission as a regular (i.e., non-provisional) student:
Higher Secondary School Diploma/Certificate. The applicant must possess a higher secondary school diploma/certificate with minimum of 70% marks and a strong record of academic performance.Internal Entrance Test (IET). Only the general test is required.
Preparation in Computing and Mathematics. The applicant should have supporting diploma level course work in mathematics and computer science.
Students missing a small portion of these courses may be admitted under the condition that they complete the requirements during their degree.
TIME FOR COMPLETION
Accepted students with a higher secondary school/college diploma/certificate typically complete the BS degree requirements in eight semesters of full-time study. Students with a less comprehensive computing background may require additional time. Teaching assistants and project/report assistants typically require more time to complete the program, as they must allocate effort to these non-course-related activities. Under normal conditions, on-campus students–even those holding teaching or project/report assistant ships the BS degree requirements in
eight semester.
