Day 1 – 28th February 2019Fly to Venice, Watertaxi Transfer to hotel and Gourmet Dinner

Fly to Venice where your meet & greet watertaxi transfer will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Staying at 5 star Hotel Metropoleconveniently located just along from St Mark’s Square, this hotel is perfect for carnival.  You are sure to already feel transported into thecarnival atmosphere!

This evening immerse yourself in that other Venetian delicacy – the sumptuous cuisine. A 5 course tasting menu prepared by The MetRestaurant’s Michelin Star Chef is included. You have the choice of 2 menus – either traditional or contemporary style. Both promise toawaken all your senses!

Venice Carnival - Upgrade Hotel Metropole Deluxe Lagoon View Room (Il Ballo del Doge)

Hotel Metropole is ideally located on the grand canal, but only a deluxe lagoon view room will provide you with a fantastic vista of San GiorgioIsland and the lagoon. The rooms are larger and feature further intricate Venetian design and detail.

Day 2 – 1st March 2019Costume Fitting Appointment

This morning head to your costume fitting appointment. Antonia Sautter runs one of the most prestigious Atelier’s in Venice, and with theirassistance you will leave looking and feeling truly special. Her creations are a feast for the eyes.

If your costume fits you will be able to take it away at once. If not it will be delivered to your hotel.

Sample a cappuccino at Cafe Florian and promenade in your intricately designed costume as the tourists flock to take your photos.Alternatively, why not head to Westin Europa and order a bottle of Champagne, to really toast your arrival at the Venetian Carnival. This istruly an experience to savour!

Day 3 – 2nd March 2019Promenade in Historical Costume and Attend World Famous Il Ballo del Doge

This morning dressed like a Venetian noble, do as the locals do and promenade around Venice in your historical costume. This really is ahighlight as Venice becomes alive with colour and style as everyone in their masked finery takes to the streets.

This extended costume hire is only available exclusively to our clients and from personal experience we highly recommend you take asmuch opportunity as possible to promenade. You will feel wonderful! Be prepared for all the locals and tourists who rush to compliment andtake photos of you in all your finery.

This afternoon pick up your personalised Ball invitations hand crafted by Antonia Sautter.

This evening a watertaxi transfer will take you to the Palazzo Pisani Moretta, the setting for this world famous, exclusive carnival ball. Leavereality behind as you step into a fairytale world. Welcoming you through the doors could be dancers, singers, jesters, musicians, acrobatsand fire-eaters.

Waiters in historical livery will bring you each of your delicious courses and entertainment will be plentiful all through the night. Take to thedance floor incognito where for the evening you can be whoever you want.

Now in its 26th Edition, the theme for 2019 is “The Magnificient Ephemeral.”

The VIP Noble Floor (Included in the price) see you arriving at 9.00pm. After your welcome cocktail or champagne, you will be invited to theNoble floor. Dine in a themed room with stunning frescoes decorating the walls. After dinner, wander through the rooms taking in the fullsplendour of the entertainment, which includes awe inspiring acrobats, dancers, singers, and plenty more besides.

Venice - Il Ballo del Doge - Upgrade to Super VIP Tickets

Arrive at 08.30pm. The Super VIP guests are taken to the second floor same as the first ticket guests, however your seating for the dinner isvery near to the stage, so can see everything taking place in front of you without the need to move nearer. You are then free to explore theNoble Rooms on the first floor.

Take to the dance floor once more for the disco and bar which will complete the evening running through to around 2.30-3am. The Super VIPtickets are the highest level of VIP ticket available and are highly sought after. There are only 50 tickets available so these do sell out veryquickly.

Day 4 – 3rd March 2019Return Costume and at Leisure until Airport Watertaxi Transfer to the airport for flighthome

Enjoy breakfast before returning your costume to the Atelier.

Your watertaxi transfer will take you to the airport for your flight home, after your Il Ballo del Doge Carnival Ball.
