3 Professional experiences Laying out, touch-up and technical drawing works at Studio Montevecchi in Imola (Bologna, Italy), from July 6th to July 27th and from October 1st to October 31st 2001. Internship at Graphic Store srl in Bologna (Italy) from July 8th to August 2nd 2002. Graphic designer at Menabó srl - Communication Agency in Forlì (Italy), from September 22nd 2003 to May 14th 2004. Work at Studio Emo Risaliti di Agliana (Pistoia, Italy) from November 24th 2004 to March 4th 2009. Mobility project with Lifelong Learning Programme (European Union) “Leonardo” in Malta; internship as graphic designer at Communiqué Creative in Sliema, from March 24th to May 28th 2009.

3.2 Competitions Attendance to different graphics and illustration competitions. 1) Prize Pro Carton Extra Market 2003 for the food packaging, in the category “Most innovative use of the board” with the project “Mukki”, the cow-milk -pack. 2) Participation to the publishing project’s catalogue “Gioco dell’ago”, featured together with Maria Russelli, within the 6th international competition of illustration and writing for children sponsored by the City Hall of Bordano (Udine, Italy).

3.3 Workshops 1) Erbashop. Photoshop teacher for seminar at Punto Giovani Europa (Prato) with AIDEA Toscana association, adults educational activities. Period: October - December 2007. 2) Workshop “Blackout Circus” organised and featured by Andrea Steinfl , at ISIA in Urbino (Italy) from March, 31st till April, 5th, 2003.

4. Professional interests My ideal job would include interaction and contact with people to share ideas and opinions, and create a continuous fl ow of useful information, whilst continuing to discover the “tricks of the trade”. I am always on the lookout for the next opportunity to improve my professional skills, and am continually revamping my style whilst keeping my personal mark recognisable.

I also have a strong interest in other kinds of art that inspire my work, including: _ colour and b&w photography of various subjects: from human body to architecture _ book illustration: for all ages including children _ comics: from the most traditional to the newest generations _ industrial design, planning, furnishing and materials’ technology _ digital art and 3D _ all the performing arts

5. Personal interests I enjoy reading, writing, listening to my music, observing and taking shots of the most trifl ing details: often by travelling and exploring new and different destinations.

I’d like to build up my own personal culture, going beyond everyday information communicated through traditional mass media and looking beyond the ordinary.

I’m online on social networks including, MySpace and Facebook, which must be used carefully and with knowledge, as every published element can have huge consequences and feedback, in particular private facts. They are a medium of communication, useful to keep in touch with people far away, and share many different inspirations. I prefer MySpace for a number of reasons, especially because I can listen to the music of artists from all around the world.

I enjoy sport, especially swimming and cycling.

I made (produced) this prototype for the “Packaging Design” exam at ISIA, and it’s been awarded with the Pro Carton 2003 prize as “Most innovative use of paper board”.

Logo and signage for Public Library, North section of Prato City Hall (Tuscany, Italy) (Studio Risaliti, 2007)


The main hall of the library is characterized by this black and white fl oor, with tiles creating a ‘X’ shape. I took an immediate inspiration to design the logo: the ‘X’ represents a infi nite-cross book, but even the meeting point for people and cultures.
