Ilex ‘Dragon Lady’

Dense pyramidal growth habit. Dark green foliage, abundant red fruits. For best growth, needs moist, well drained soils in sun or partial shade. Very slow growing, will yellow and perform poorly in soil pHv above 6.0.

Lustrous dark green foliage, abundant red berries. Color & fruit hold through the winter.

Pyramidal habit. Dark olive green leaves, red berries.

Dense pyramid. Almost black-green foliage, glossy, slightly squarish. Resistant to deer.

A U.S. Arboretum introduction that when compared to the species will probably reach a bit more height/spread with better and more persistent fruit production. Upright habit, persistent bright red berries.

Fruits earlier than other cultivars, abundant red berries. Superior fruit set and berry retention.

Globose, very compact habit. Dark green leaves, abundant large vibrant red fruit. ‘Jim Dandy’ is the male pollinator.

Compared to species, has excellent dark green glossy foliage that changes over to bronze in the fall, upright habit. Heavy bright red fruit production that persists longer into the winter and produces fruit at earlier age.

Upright pyramidal habit, fast growth rate. Dark olive green, glossy leaves, fruits vivid red.

Pyramidal habit. Long glossy leaves with short spines, shiny red berries

Considered to be the perfect columnar holly; use as specimen or hedge. We prune pyramidal and columnar. Self fruiting with quite a bit of variation, plants under stress are very heavily fruited. Very dense with smaller leaves than most hollies with very stiff, pointed spines. Dark glossy green foliage with a very apparent reddish tint on the new flush; everyone who sees it wishes all hollies would look this good.
