. WHEREAS the Lord Chief Justice of Northern. Irelan:d in exer~ise of the powers vested in."·him by sub-section (1) of section ten of the· Illegitimate Children (Mfiliatiori Orders) Act (Northern Ireland), 1924, (hereinafter referred to as" the Act "), made rules entitled the Illegiti­mate Children (Mfiliation Orders) Rules, 1925, (hereinafter referred to as " the Principal Rules ").

AND WHEREAS section four of the Summary Jurisdiction (Miscel­laneous Provisions) Act (Northern Ireland), 1946, applies the. pro­visions of section six (other than sub-section (5) thereof) of the Summary Jurisdiction (Separation and Maintenance) Act (Northern Ireland), 1945, to the enforcement of Affiliation Orders made under the Act.
