Gresham agents give Jim a big sendoff for his retirement when he came to their recent Admin day.

Salem Business Center had fun with Jim when he came to their Admin day, putting together a Duck/Beaver coin toss with Jim representing the Ducks and Roger Elliot representing the Beavers.

Gresham’s Shar Giard and Sunnyside’s Tom Stubbs share tips with Gresham agents on what they are doing that is working in the market today.

What I’ve found that is really helping me in today’s market is keeping myself upbeat.

I use a gratitude journal, in which I write 5 things I’m grateful for that day every night before I go to bed. I also say 25 ‘thank yous” every night when I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning. As much as systems or techniques, having a really good attitude makes a difference in what I can accomplish each day in my life and my business.

At this time of year, it’s also time to start thinking about making your business plan. You need to have a business plan so you know what to expect and that you can get there.
