Well as usual it’s all happening in the last part of the year. Demand continues to be strong and therefore I strongly recommend you talk to us as early as possible if you are considering replacing your vehicle, demand is very strong given the smaller number of vehicles there are available and we are unlikely to have enough stock to meet the demand, especially if the weather turns nasty, so please don’t leave things too late!

Land Rover & Range Rover sales continue unabated around the globe and fortunately that seems unstoppable presently with demand often outstripping supply. Retail Sales in the UK were up 30% in September and the UK continued to be the leading market but sales were up around the world with increases of 55% in Brazil, 92% in China.

Land Rover’s strong retail offers have continued into Quarter 4 and we continue to take advance orders on the amazing new Range Rover Evoque. The fi rst cars are now with their delighted customers and I have now done over 3,000 miles in my own Range Rover Evoque which is superb. Nevertheless, the product news doesn’t end there; we now have the new 12 Model Year Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Discovery 4 available to test drive. Whilst there are too many features to list here it is remarkable how the product continues to go from strength to strength and the new Eight Speed Gearbox’s needs to be driven to be fully appreciated.

We have spent several £0000’s with local people and charities not least with our friends at Young Carers who do an amazing job locally with young children who have a dependant adult at home and more recently we were able to help Rochdale Dog Rescue save seven dogs from being destroyed and we had a visit by the Barlick Barons who were proudly showing off their new Hillendale Sponsored kit (picture can be seen on page 10), just remember us lads when you’re in the Premier League!

All that remains is for me to thank you for your fantastic support in 2011 and to offer seasonal best wishes from me and the whole team, we look forward to welcoming you to Hillendale again very soon.

Back in April we opened our doors to the Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale Young Carers and what a fantastic evening they had, with special guests the Mayor and Mayoress of Pendle, a wide array of activities were organised to keep the youngsters busy.Sirens could be heard for miles around with a Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service fi re engine and two Land Rover Discovery’s, from the Lancashire Constabulary Tra� c Division; the Young Carers were able to sit in the vehicles and learn about all their functions.Games were organised within the showroom; including a Giant Wii with Mario Kart and Just Dance competitions. The o� road track was opened and all the children were thrilled by the course. Burnley Football Club kindly donated a bu� et for the evening and Ribble Valley Studios from Wilpshire, Blackburn took photographs, kindly presenting each child with a photographic memento of their experience. The evening was rounded o� with a live demonstration by Lancashire Fire and Rescue of a chip pan fi re, held outside in the car park – which certainly set the night alight!Thanks to all the sta� that supported the event on the evening, plus special thanks to the Mayor and Mayoress of Pendle, representatives

from Lancashire Fire and Rescue and Lancashire Constabulary, Ribble Valley Studios, Burnley Football Club and of course the sta� and young people from Young Carers.
