IMAGE SERVICES A way to share raster and image data using ArcGIS
Server An image service provides access to raster data (imagery,
LiDAR) through a web service Clients can access these services via
desktop, web browser, or mobile applications and browsers What can
be published as an image server? Mosaic dataset - geodb used to
manage a collection of raster datasets (images) stored as a catalog
and viewed as a mosaicked image Mosaic layer Raster dataset such as
TIFF, JPEG 2000, Esri Grid, and MrSid Raster layer LiDAR data Slide
