One of our longest partnerships within thebroadcasting sector is with IMG Studios located inStockley Park, West London. IMG Studios is the in-house facilities provider to IMG Productions, theworld’s largest independent sports programmeproducer,whichgeneratesmorethan21,000hoursoftelevisionannually.
The site comprises four television studios,nine live galleries, seventy-two editing suites,three audio dubbing suites, three radio studios,visual effects, newsroom, transmission suitesand a main control room dealing with morethan 200 incoming fibre and satellite sources.Forovertenyears,Mode-ALhasdesigned,builtandinstalledmonitorstacksandmediawallsforitsMCR.Ourlong-standingrelationshipwithIMG,(tothepointweall jokeit isourshowroom),continueswiththe
upgradingandre-taskingofexistingstackstosuittheever-changing broadcast environment. Themonitorstack’s modulardesignenablesquickturnaroundandifrequiredcanbereconfiguredorextendedatalaterwithlittleornodisruptiontotheexistinginstallation.

A key part of our service is to keep and maintainrecords of the 10,000+ stacks built for the world’sbroadcasters. As no two installations are the same,our solutionsarebuilt toexact client requirementsandcanbemodifiedwithminimumdisruption.
Productsandpartsareserialnumberedandloggedatourfacilityenablingustoproviderecords,drawingsandadviceonthelogisticsofre-taskingorupgradinganinstalledbaseofstacks.Suchefficienciesofferacost-effectivewayforwardforallourbroadcastclients.Whether ergonomically or chronologically, Mode-AL’sproductsaredesignedtooutperformandoutlastthoseofourcompetitors,withtheaddedadvantagethatwhenendoflifeisreached,theunitscaneitherbere-taskedwithadditionalcomponentsortheycanbe100%recycled.
DeliveryFollowing design and client approval, ourmodularmonitorstacksaretestbuiltinourworkshopinGreaterLondontoensurerapidon-siteinstallation. In this case, the stack was powder coated inMode-ALmattblacktomatchtheprevailingcolourschemeoftheroom.
