A Chairde,

Seachtain na Gaeilge continues until Wednesday. We have our Gaelbhratach visit today when we hope to get our second flag. Go n-éirí linn. Proclamation Day is tomorrow and we will be having a ceremony around the raising of our national flag at 9.30. It will be raised by pupils from Rang 4 and we will all sing the National Anthem. There will be a display of project work on the corridors leading to the hall from 12.30 to 3.00 and a Flag Lowering Ceremony at 2.50. The highlight of the day, if not the year, will be our Drama: Is Cuimhin Linn 1916-We Remember 1916. This starts at 1.00 and continues for around 45 minutes. Health and Safety: Please note that it is school policy to inform parents/guardians if we are aware that your child gets a bump on the head. You will be asked to come in and examine the bump and to then decide to bring your child home or leave him/her in school. Please understand that we have to err on the side of caution.
