Parish organizations planning to use any of the Parish facilities MUST fill out the facility request form in the parish office

and get it approved before making further plans. Turning in an application

does not necessarily mean you can begin using the room/hall/patio. A

representative from the main office will call to confirm your approval.

Any schedule or room changes must also be approved. We ask that you

please respect your scheduled time.

Tips for Summer Camp Safety Summer is almost here. School is almost out, and a whole host of new

opportunities for recreation and relaxation await. Maybe you are sending your children to a music or sports camp? Or maybe they have been invited by their friends to go camping in the mountains or at the

beach? Whatever the situation, it is important to remember that parents still have the responsibility of controlling access that new people will have to their children. If your children are attending a

summer camp, insist that counselors or anyone else who might have access to your children have undergone an application process that

includes a criminal background check and reference checks. For particular help, you may call Assistance Ministry at (213) 637-7650.

Hospice for Abandonded Terminally Ill

Children in Colombia

The Missionaries of Totus Tuus believe that it is our

responsibility as Children of God to provide love and care for those who are in great need of help. Inspired by

the spirit of Christian love, Totus Tuus is taking an active role in

providing hospice care to orphaned and abandoned children in poor

countries like Colombia. Totus Tuus is a Catholic community approved by Cannon la, Our vision is to commit

ourselves to reduce the pain and suffering caused by poverty and

illnesses and to up hold the dignity of all human life.

gran cantidad de nuevas oportunidades para la recreación

y la relajación. ¿Quizás usted va a enviar a sus hijos a campamentos de música o deportes? ¿O quizás

han sido invitados por sus amigos a ir a campar en las montañas o en la playa? Sea cual sea la situación, es importante recordar que los padres siguen teniendo la responsabilidad de controlar el acceso a personas

desconocidas que se relacionen con sus hijos. Si sus hijos van a asistir a un campamento de verano, insista en

que los consejeros o cualquier otra persona que pueda tener acceso a

sus hijos hayan sido sometidos a un proceso que incluya una verificación

de antecedentes penales y verificación de referencias.
