Dispensation from the obligation to attend

Holy Mass on Sundays & Holy Days of

Obligation, continues through

October 4, 2020

In particular, those who are experiencing any sickness & their caregivers, those with

any health vulnerability, & those fearful of the possible infection of COVID 19 should

stay at home.

Bishop Talley has asked to reach out to you and ask for your financial support

for the Louisiana victims in the Diocese of Lake Charles and the Diocese of

Alexandria. He is asking that we have a special second collection on the

weekend of September 26 and 27. All funds collected will benefit the victims

from the storm. These efforts will be coordinated through Catholic Charities

of West Tennessee (CCWTN).

The dispensation of the obligation to attend Holy

Mass & Holy Days of Obligation will be lifted on the

weekend of October 11-12, 2020.

Those in a good state of health are obligated to return

All-powerful and ever-living God, when Abraham left his native land

and departed from his people you kept him safe through all his journeys.

Protect these soldiers. Be their constant companion and their strength in battle,

their refuge in every adversity. Guide them, O Lord, that they may return home in safety.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Please keep all military & their families in your prayers. Especially pray for 2 of our parishioners who are to be deployed.
