Framing The Session

Audio, whether it is from a CD, computer recording, or GarageBand has the ability to enhance dramatic moments in a movie.

Once an iMovie is created there are many different methods of distribution.It can be:

• displayed on a website• sent via email• viewed on a computer• burned on a DVD

Framing The Session

Video effects can be used to alter a clip. Effects can be used to alter the speed of the clip, add special effects to the clip, or turn a clip to black and white.

What are possible sources of digital audio?• A microphone (built into the computer or external)• Online download• A CD

Guided Practice

Today’s skill will focus on:• importing audio into iMovie• video effects• Saving the movie in a format everyone can

view

Getting Started

Take the next 30 minutes to import audio. Add video effects (if necessary) and transitions to your movies. After 30 minutes we will come back together and share.
