Ex-ante impact assessment for IFAD investment project (second phase: 2010-15)

Estimated outcome from restocking of households with goats with improved livestock nutrition and livestock community breeding

•  Nearly five-fold increase in goat numbers estimated for 2016 (7512 goats) compared to the total number of goats distributed during 2010-16 (1578)

•  Nearly four-fold increase in the value of goats (present value of USD 1.28 million in 2015) compared to investment (USD 280,000) from 2010-15 for the community.
