In 1894 Nicholas II became Tsar of the Russian Empire
He would be the Final Tsar
The Russian Empire was huge!
covered 1/6th of the earth’s surfaceYou could fit 90 Britains into Russia
But a lot of the land was useless

In 1900 only 5% of the land was used for farming
Industry and Trade were also affected
