IMPORTANT NOTE TO PARENTS

Dear Friend,

It’s wonderful to see how Superbook is bringing the stories of the Bible to life for millions of children and their families all around the world—in their own languages! Superbook also shows how to apply the timeless lessons of God’s Word to our lives today.

In “Baptized!” Joy doesn’t think she should invite Ellie, a friend who is not a believer, to her baptism. That changes after Superbook takes Joy with Chris, Gizmo and Ellie to see how Jesus calls ordinary people to follow Him and become His disciples.

Use this Family Discussion Guide to help your children talk about God’s call on your own lives as well.

If you don’t have a Bible to look up the suggested verses, simply download the free Superbook Kids Bible App, featuring the entire Bible in many versions and languages. The app also has fun games, full-length Superbook episodes, and much more for your family to enjoy together.

God bless you!

What happens to all of our guilt and shame? Read 2 Corinthians 5:17.

We can’t save ourselves; only Jesus can! So what should we do? Read Ephesians 4:23-24 and Colossians 3:1-2.

We will all fail sometimes—but should we give up and think we can never change? Read Philippians 1:6.

Simon Peter, James, and John made their living as fishermen—so what convinced them to leave everything behind and follow Jesus? Read Luke 5:1-7.

What did Peter say when he saw this great miracle? Read Luke 5:8-9.

It’s not enough just to hear what God tells us; what else should we do? Read Matthew 7:24-27.

Who should we imitate? Read Ephesians 5:1-2, 10.

What does Jesus promise us if we follow Him? Read John 8:12.

Why didn’t Joy invite Ellie to her baptism? What should make us want to tell others about Christ? Read 2 Corinthians 5:14, 20.

What did Jesus tell the fishermen when He saw them by the Sea of Galilee? Read Matthew 4:18-19.

What does it mean to fish for people? Read Matthew 28:19.

Who gives us the power to tell others about Jesus? Read Matthew 28:20 and Acts 1:8.

A great way to witness to others is to share what Jesus has done in your life. Are you ready to do that? Read 1 Peter 3:15-16.

FOLLOW HIM! BRAND NEW! GO FISHING!

PRAY Dear Lord Jesus, please fill us with the power of Your Holy Spirit to follow Your example in all that we say and do. We pray this in Your name. Amen.

PRAY Lord Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross to save us from our sins, then rising from the grave to bring us new life so we can be with You forever! Amen.

PRAY Heavenly Father, help us be quick to obey Your command to go and tell others the Good News about our Savior, Jesus. In His name we pray. Amen.

BAPTIZED! BAPTIZED! BAPTIZED!
