What did Satan want Him to do next, and how did Jesus reply? Read Matthew 4:5-7.

Satan then tempted Jesus to rule the world—but was it in the right way? Read Matthew 4:8-11.

TEMPTED EQUIPPED DELIVERED

PRAY Dear Father, teach us how to overcome temptation, and help us humbly depend on Your strength. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

PRAY Lord, help us grow in our faith as we study the Bible and pray. May Your Word fill our hearts so we can live to please You. Amen.

PRAY Lord Jesus, thank You for overcoming the power of temptation, sin and death. We praise You for dying on the cross and rising again to give us new life! Amen.
