Client Profile

The client had two different groups of users. Both these groups worked on different lines of businesses and had

privilege to update/load budget and forecast numbers to Essbase. During this process, after loading a

Budget/Forecast file to Essbase, users had to wait for several minutes to load the second file. Due to this, users

were spending long hours, along with the Essbase support team to reach their deadlines during budget cycles.

To resolve this issue, the client was looking for a solution that could minimize the wait time of budget and

forecast file upload to Essbase. The client also wanted to reduce the nightly refresh time of Essbase data from

Legacy system to increase the window of Essbase system availability for budget users.
