•  There were 548,400 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people counted in the 2011 Census. This represented a 21% (93,300) increase since the 2006 Census - almost double the rate of increase between the 2001 and 2006 Censuses (11% or 45,000). (ABS)

Research demonstrates that to be connected you have to have: - A good income - Have a need to use ICTs - Have family and friends with ICTs – network effect - Have used ICTs in education or at work - Cyber Security - IP
