Impact

Expected Impact according to call Relation to PHOCAM

First time right, flexible and efficient manufacturing systems

Both core technologies (Customized ceramics, on-demand micro-manufacturing) provide innovative approaches for the fabrication of high value added products. Both technologies can fabricate customized geometries on a flexible on-demand basis and are significantly more efficient regarding material usage compared to existing manufacturing approaches.

RM methodologies for high value added products

Based on innovative light sources, new manufacturing equipment is developed that allows on-demand fabrication of high-added value products.

New supply chain approachesThe consortium is developing a secure, internet based software framework which facilitates distributed, customized manufacturing on an on-demand basis.
