Rules for IT LabRules for IT Lab

Check the machine. If not in order immediately report tothe IT staff on duty

Remove all your unnecessary files from the hard diskdrive

Logoff your computer after use

Maintain silence in computer lab

Use of Cell phone is strictly prohibited

Internet chatting is not allowed

Viewing pornographic images is punishable

Eating, Drinking and playing games are strictly

prohibited in Computer Lab. Do not use IT Lab as reading room.

Computing resources are intended for the pursuit of academic objectives only. No usage for

commercial purpose is allowed.

The users must protect their pass words and should not leave the their account accessibleto others in any circumstances. Similarly the users must not attempt at accessing othersaccounts.

Users must respect the copyright status of the institutes software. All the software in theinstitute premises is copyrighted.

Users must not attempt to modify system facilities, interfere with other users or system

StudentStudent--Owned LaptopOwned Laptop Students are permitted to use personal notebook computers on

campus and in the residences for their academic requirements.However, the following conditions apply:

2. Any computer using the university must be installed with:

a. Licensed virus protection software, including an active update subscription and
