Earn your Bachelor’s in Business in Just Over 2 years

HELBUS offers an exciting pathway to a Bachelor’s in Business by combining studies in Helsinki with those abroad. You will spend the first four terms at HELBUS completing the UK-recognised Higher National Diploma (HND) after which you will be eligible to apply to over 60 universities around the world to complete your Bachelor’s degree, often in one year or less. If you prefer, it is also possible to study your final year online from Finland. Your final degree will be awarded by the university in which you take your third year.

There are two modes of delivery at HELBUS: the full-time programme, where students participate in class five days a week, and the fully online blended learning programme for those that require more flexibility. The same international instructors deliver both the full-time tuition and the evening virtual classroom sessions for the blended learning programme.

As HELBUS has three terms in a year, it is possible that you can earn your Bachelor’s degree in just over two years. After the Bachelor’s, you can then apply to Master’s programmes anywhere in the world.

Over 75 % of our instructors hold a doctorate degree, which is a significantly higher percentage than in Finnish state universities.

Modular Studies are an Efficient Way of Learning

Visiting instructors deliver the course units in three-week modules allowing you to focus on one subject at a time. Experience has shown that this is an efficient learning method that leads to higher retention rates than traditional methods and ensures that you will make tangible progress in your studies every month!

studies start: there is no need to reserve time to study for an entrance exam and you will graduate and hence start earning more quickly than your peers in state universities.

As HELBUS receives no state support, operations are funded by tuition fees. Tuition fees are invoiced before the beginning of each new term. The tuition fee for studies starting in Fall 2016 will be confirmed in early 2016. In 2015, the tuition fee for the full-time programme was €3,950 per term.
