Expenses for each crusade amount to over R200 000 ($20 000). These include the following:

ADVERTISING includes flyers, posters, banners, loudhailing, radio and televi-sion. Mini-outreaches are held to pro-mote the main event, with many giv-ing their lives to Jesus as a result.

IHN takes FOLLOW-UP most seriously. Personal details are collected. A spe-cial booklet is given. Pastors contact and disciple the new converts. We monitor the process throughout.

From phone calls to lodging and trav-el, TEAM EXPENSES add up. Planning begins at least six months prior to a crusade, local churches working to-gether with us to get the job done.

A month before, IHN holds a PRAYER SEMINAR for believers. Names of un-believers are written on special cards. These people are prayed over and in-vited to the crusade.

SOUND, LIGHTS, STAGE, CHAIRS, TENTS and TOILETS are set up on the crusade site. The sound travels great distances, many testifying to getting saved or healed even in their homes.

With electricity being either unreliable or non-existent in rural areas, IHN al-ways hires a GENERATOR to ensure our power is uninterrupted from beginning to end.

In the rural areas in which we hold our crusades, people are widely scattered and transport limited. We arrange and provide FREE TRANSPORT for as many people as we can.

AFRICA

WHAT DOES EACH CRUSADE COST?

Local SCHOOLS are visited and the Gospel preached. Decision cards are completed for all those who accept Christ so they can be properly fol-lowed-up. Students are invited to bring their families to the crusade.

During each crusade week, we hold a FIRE CONFERENCE over three of the mornings. The purpose thereof is to equip and empower believers for evangelism.

WINNING THE LOST

We are dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ across Africa through the holding of mass crusades. Our crusades are held over a minimum of five consecutive evenings, with many accepting Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour following a clear and fervent articulation of the Gospel message. The sick and oppressed are prayed for in each service, testimonies quickly following of both miraculous healings as well as mighty deliverances from demonic-attacks. These meetings are held in partnership with local churches, such being responsible for following-up new converts and discipling them in their relationship with their newfound Lord. With a decision card being filled in for each convert, IHN does its utmost to ensure that every new believer is properly followed-up.

EQUIPPING THE SAINTS

We are likewise passionate about inspiring and equipping the Body of Christ for their own soul-winning efforts through the delivery of powerful teachings focused on evangelism and the empowering work of the Holy Spirit. In fact, we couple each crusade with a Fire Conference held over three mornings of the crusade week. The purpose of such a conference is to give believers extensive teaching on the Holy Spirit and evangelism, while prayer for the baptism in the Holy Spirit in the final session fully empowers them to do the work of God. Indeed, one evening of each In His Name crusade is also dedicated not only to proclaiming the Good News but also to presenting a short yet powerful teaching on the Holy Spirit and praying for the baptism of the Holy Spirit for all those who desire to receive this glori-ous gift. Such teachings are also presented upon invitation to conferences, church meetings, seminars and the like, as well as through media channels, from broadcast and print to web-based initiatives. Prayer and evangelism go together! Prayer is the bow, evangelism the arrow. The bow gives the arrow power and direction. If prayer is forsaken, preaching falls short. At our crusades, we know that each soul saved is a result of prayer. The believers in the area intercede for the salvation of their city. Our team members and wonderful prayer partners do likewise. At present, we are using three different vehicles with trailers to pull sound, stage, lighting and generator equipment to and from each cru-sade location. This is growing to be costly, dangerous and logistically challenging. Hiring a truck is very expensive. Consequently, having our own is the ideal solution.

At present, we are hiring all sound, stage and lighting equipment. This is a costly and frustrating process, the equipment often being difficult to obtain and unreliable. We are eager to invest in our own, adding on as crowd sizes expand and demands increase.
