Minimally processed Plant-basedThese juice blends are produced with gentle, traditional production methods, and are not considered an additive.
Our label-friendly Hansen sweet potatoTM and safflower blend provides a bright orange shade that can replace paprika and carminic acids in water ice and confectionery.
Emulsified meat* and meat analogues become a fresh pink with Hansen sweet potatoTM, which is stable in this production environment.*Restricted in US
Less pH sensitive than other red anthocyanin-based fruit and vegetable concentrates. Provides a strawberry red shade in milk-based applica-tion where others turn greyish.
Provides a strawberry pinkish-red shade in foods with a white back-ground like cake batter and yo-gurt. Sweet potato is bake stable. Mixed with an orange pigment, you can obtain a red shade.
These orange and red coloring foods are excellent plant-based alternatives to Sunset yellow, Allura red and carmine.

These blends produce unusually bright orange and red shades, popular but challenging to achieve with minimally processed color sources.
Most natural red color solutions have issues with stability or shade for ex. heat stability of betanins and pH stability of anthocyanins. Paprika and some beta-carotenes are not available as Coloring Foods. Our new colors have the best combination of: • Heat stability • Light stability • Oxidation stability • pH robustness
When you need a bright red or vibrant orange colorIt’s well-known that most clean label reds have challenges regarding stability, shade and/or off-flavor. The unique properties of our vegetable juice concentrates based on the Hansen sweet potatoTM Ipomoea batatas is the best solution yet.
