FRIENDSWe've known each other almost all our lives.We planned to have our wedding togetherwhen we became wives.We talked about the cars we would getand sharing a two bedroom apartment.You told me your deepest secretsand I told you mine.Ifwe kept each other's secretseverything would be fine.We shared everything from clothes to sneakers.

to tears.It's funny how we grew apartover the years.We hardly see each other anymoreand we hardly ever speak.We might whisper a hellowhen we bump heads in the street.It's funny how time can changethe greatest things.But one thing I noticed is thatwe both still wear our friendship rings.

how to have fun.He was a young man still inhis teensfull of life, ideas and many other things.He was from a not so big townwhere everyone knew everyone.He lost his life to a bullet from a gun.He will forever remain close to my heart.

I learned a lot through the years I've known you.Mainly that men ain't no good.I learned not to lovenot to trustso much.Nat to give aman my all,'cause when I did my heart got torn.I also learned how to be strong,not to cry when aman does me wrong.I learned when it comes to you, I could do better.I learned how to change rain to sun.I learned to change the weather.I learned a lot by being with you.I learned that everything aman says isn't

always true.I learned the difference between agood man

and a bad one.A bad one shoots you in the heart without usinga gun.
