Faithful Navigator’s Message
Worthy Sir Knights, Let us take time this November to remember all the Faithful Departed and Holy Souls in Purgatory, especially our loved ones who have touched us with the gift of themselves. Let us continue to keep in prayer the lives of all members of our mili-tary who serve(d) us so steadfastly in protecting our country and our liberties even at the cost of their lives. As we gather with family and friends, we thank our loving God for our many bless-ings and pray for those who are in need or have no one to pray for them. Novem-ber is also a time that we remember our Faithful Departed Brother Knights who have served our Church, our Nation, our communities and our Honored Order in building the blessings we have today.
I personally want to thank all of you for your continued service and dedication to the Assembly this year. It has been a busy year with many activities that we have been involved in and that I am sure each of us remembers fondly. I am look-ing forward to working with all of you in 2019. Both Lady Judy and I wish a Happy Thanksgiving and a Blessed Christmas to you and your families!

Worthy Sir Knights,
Volunteers are needed on Saturday, December 15th to lay Christmas wreaths on the
graves of veterans at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A service honoring
veterans will begin at 12PM at the Pennsylvania Memorial with the wreath laying fol-
lowing. Volunteers are asked to arrive 45 minutes to an hour before noon. Volun-
teers will not be able to park within the cemetery while the event is going
on. You will either have to walk or board shuttle buses that will take you into
the cemetery. To participate in the event, please go to the website https://
www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/ and click the Volunteer button. We will be
helping lay wreaths at Section 8C next to the Pennsylvania Memorial. I have at-
tached a cemetery map to help find the location we will be working in. Families are welcome to participate. Many civic
groups participate including Boy and Girl Scouts, motorcycle clubs, etc. The wreath laying until all sections of the cemetery
are complete could take an hour to 90 minutes. I attended this last year and found the ceremony very moving.
If any Knights are available on Wednesday, December 12th at 4PM, volunteers are also needed at the Fort Indiantown Gap
Community Center to transfer boxes of wreaths from tractor trailers to smaller box trucks for staging.
Volunteers are also needed on Friday, December 14th at 8 or 9AM to stage wreath boxes with the cemetery.
A cemetery cleanup day will take place in February but the date is to be determined. The cleanup can take about an hour and
has been well attended in the past.
Please let me know if you plan to attend at any of these events. Please pass along this information to your Councils. Thank
You!
Vivat Jesus!
