Bernie Madoff is a monster in society today. Before being imprisoned, Madoff was an American stock broker and investment adviser. He was the operator of what is known as the biggest Ponzi scheme in history stealing $65 billion worth of stock investments. In 2008, he was sentenced to 150 years in prison, the maximum allowed.

Ever since the September 11th attacks, terrorists have been seen as monsters in today’s society. People from the middle east are often stereotyped as a hazardous threat to human safety.
