IN T R O D U C T IO Noiling Stone recent ly sent a repor ter who was a to ta l square out here to Los Angeles to do a feature story on me. He was looking for insight into my

lifestyle, my success, and the whole mack sub culture of the streets, but he also wanted to

test me to see if I l ived up to my reputation of being able to turn any man into a mack.

That 's right, this dude wanted to hang with me for a week t o see if I could give him a Mack

Makeover.

Now when I say this reporter was square, I mean he was atotal square. I t ' s easy for

me to teach people in the young, urban demo graphic , because most of them are a t

least somewhat famil iar with the game. But here I was deal ing with a square, middle-

aged white guy who looked l ike an insurance salesman. He looked l ike the adul t vers ion

of Harry Pot ter.A nd i t was now my job to turn Clark Kent in to Supermack.The first thing I needed to do was to get his tools together. Itook him to one of my favorite clothing spots to get him some new

gear. The whole mackin ' world was so new to him that he was l i ter a l ly t rembling withnervousness as he was t rying on h is new clothes .

Next, we rolled around town while I broke the game down to him. I gave him the basics

of the mackin game, and he was soaking it all up like a sponge. The reporter told me that

he had been divorced for about four years after twenty years of marriage. He admitted that

he knew absolutely nothing about the current dating scene, let alone how to approach a

woman. So I schooled him on the rules of the game, and later on that night, we set out to

go to the club. This club was one of the hottest spots in Los Angeles. I knew that a lot of top- notch females l iked to hang there, so I brought some of my best mack partners with

us.

Now I wil l admit , i t d id look kind of odd to have f ive young black guys and one

middle-aged white guy hanging out a t the club together. We told the reporter that people

are going to think that he is our probat ion off icer. But the vibe was cool , and he real ized

that he was in good hands with us . In the club, the reporter does everything that I te l l

him to do. He carr ies himself the way I te l l h im. And to his surpr ise , females were

coming up toh im star t ing conversat ions. Throughout the night , we saw the reporter

interact ing with different females , exchanging numbers , the whole nine. He wasshocked to see that females there were so recept ive to him. He didn ' t know he had i t in

him to pul l women l ike that . He told me that he was now a bel iever. All I did was tap into

his mack within.
