IN THE GOOD OL’ SUMMERTIME . . .

The Raging River Auto Camp Swimming Tank (seen at right)—65 feet
long by 35 feet wide, from 3 to 9 feet in depth—was quite a treat
in the early 1930s. It was located on Preston-Fall City Road, at
the present site of A&H Septic.
Earning some spending money was also part of summer. The Koba
Farms photo at far left is from 1962; the Cascara bark ad above is
from 1960.

CALLING FOR FALL CITY QUILTSThe speaker for our Annual Meeting
in October will talk about historic quilts. So we would like to put
together a small display of Fall City quilts, both old and new. If
