In the United States around the end of the 19th century, spaghetti was offered in restaurants as Spaghetti Italienne (which consisted of noodles cooked past al dente, and a mild tomato sauce flavored with easily found spices and vegetables such as cloves, bay leaves, and garlic) and it wasn't until decades later that it came to be commonly prepared with oregano or basil.

Heat the olive oil on a frying pan and fry the finely chopped onion in it until golden brown. Then add the chopped garlic and fry for a minute.

Add the minced meat to the vegetables and fry until the meat is not nearly finished. Add salt, pepper and chopped oregano to the meat. Pour canned tomatoes, season with sugar, spice spaghetti and add a pinch of salt and pepper.

Cook spaghetti (by instructions on pack) for ten minutes.

Mix the finished bolognese sauce with cooked spaghetti, put on a plate, sprinkle with grated Eidam cheese or Parmesan cheese and sprinkle lightly with olive oil.

This food was very delicious and tasty. We were underestimated by our family, but finally we did it and we are proud of our meal.
