Welcome (Back) to Blyth Academy Whitby! It feels strange writing a welcome message today. Although school has only been in session for two weeks, we are already well into the swing of the school year. It was lovely to meet families, both new and returning, at our Meet & Greet last week, and we are hopeful that we will see you regularly through the year. Parents are a critically important part of the Blyth Academy Whitby family, and we want you to know you are always welcome. We will be producing two newsletters each month - one in the first half and one in the second half. We encourage you to read and enjoy them so that you know what we're up to, and so that you don't miss any important dates or announcements. Should you need to reach us at any point through the school year, we welcome you to call, email, or come in to see us.

Orientation Trip to Claremont Field Center 09/07/18On our second day of school this year, we all piled onto a school bus and headed to ClaremontField Center for a day of team building and leadership activities. In the morning students brokeinto Grade Groups and participated in group dynamic activities. After lunch in the dining hall, students reformed into House Teams and completed in a mini-Olymics.

Despite the construction impacting the drive, our students and teachers had a wonderful day.New friendships were made, old friendships were rekindled, and the smiles at the end of the daytold the story of the fun that was had. We hope you enjoy the photos!
