Inacti ate Your Solid Waste Registration Submit this form to inactivate your Solid Waste Registration (SWR). enerators that meet the qualifications below do not have a notification requirement and should inactivate their SWR.
Facilities that close must also submit Waste Management Unit (WMU) closure information per Texas Administrative Code (TAC) §335.8. Requirements and guidance to close WMUs are at http://www.tceq.texas.gov/remediation/corrective_action/closure.html.

To inactivate your SWR as a generator, your facility must meet all the following qualifications:
• During the remainder of the current report year and future years, the facility will not generate more than:
o 220 pounds of hazardous waste each month
o 220 pounds of industrial Class 1 waste each month
o 2,200 pounds of hazardous waste during the year
o 2,200 pounds of industrial Class 1 waste during the year
o 2.2 pounds of acutely hazardous waste during the year (Acute waste carries a P-listed EPA WasteNumber.)
o 220 pounds of contaminated soil, waste, or other debris resulting from the cleanup of acute hazardouswaste spilled into or on land or water
• During the remainder of the current report year and future years, the facility will not store more than:
o 2,200 pounds of hazardous waste
o 2.2 pounds of acute hazardous waste
o 220 pounds of contaminated soil, waste, or other debris resulting from the cleanup of acute hazardouswaste spilled into or on land or water
