    No need to make you an endocrinologist here, but if you understand the basics ofhow testosterone is produced in the body, as well as how OTHERhormones playa role in your attempts to master the benefits of high levels of man juice, thenthe rest of this book will make MUCHmore sense to you.

    So lets take a simplified tour through your bodys endocrine system and seewhat the assembly line workers in the testosterone department are up to, shallwe?

    As you can see from the previous diagram, all roads lead SOUTH, directly toyour bodys main testosterone production plant the TESTES. But just like areal manufacturing facility, the assembly line needs RAW MATERIALSandPROPER SUPPORTin order to create the finished product.

    For a REALmanufacturing facility, this could translate to metals, plastics, nutsand bolts, paper products, and other raw materials, as well as employee factorssuch as the right amount of assembly line workers working the right amount ofhours and taking enough breaks to remain at OPTIMUMproduction levels.

    For YOURtestosterone manufacturing facility (your body), you need similarsupport, such as the correct RAW MATERIALS(nutrients), PROPEREXERCISEand REST PERIODS, SECONDARY HORMONE SUPPORT, etc..

    As you can see from the diagram, your PEAKtestosterone levels occur in theEARLY MORNINGright before waking up and getting out of bed.

    Compound Your Results With Compound Exercises

    If you want to send a message to your body that it needs to kick testosterone

    production into high-gear, then EXERCISEis like a bullhorn you get to screamthrough to make it happen.

    But the TYPEof exercises you do and HOWyou perform them have aPROFOUNDeffect on just how MUCHT responds to your demands.

    You see, the amount of testosterone produced has a DIRECTrelationship to theamount of stress you apply to your bodys muscle fibers. The MOREyou stressyour muscles (short of OVERTRAININGof course)the MOREtestosteroneyoull produce!

    But theres more to stressing muscle fibers than simply grunting out reps to thepoint youre throwing up after every set. There are MANYother factors that arerequired to accomplish this goaland MOREthan I can cover in detail here.

    The fact is, one look around any weight room will show you that there are VERYFEWguys who actually lift correctly in order to make sure theyre hitting as muchmuscle as they could be.

    Studies show that when you perform COMPOUND EXERCISESyou stimulateMANYmore muscle fibers than if you perform ISOLATION EXERCISES.

    Just for some added clarification

    COMPOUNDexercises, such as the barbell squat, deadlift, benchpress, pull downs and rows, move the body through MOREthanone joint movement and incorporate supporting stabilizer muscles,effectively working the body as a WHOLEunit.

    An ISOLATIONexercise, such as seated leg-extensions, bicepcurls, tricep pushdowns, and calf raises, use a single-jointmovement and really ISOLATEthe specific muscle youre trying totarget.

    Lower Stress Levels

    Everyone has stress in their lives (except possibly for that long-haired yoga

    instructor that smells like flowers) and this is actually a GOODthing. Stress iswhat keeps us alert, focused, and active.

    But too MUCHstress can have an adverse effect on your bodys hormoneproduction, putting a major kink in your quest for increased testosterone levels.

    When your lifestyle is filled with too much ANXIETY, your body reacts byreleasing the hormone CORTISOLinto your blood stream. Many of you may befamiliar with this hormones role in holding back your muscle gains, but whencortisol levels are RAISED, testosterone production begins to DECLINEas well.

    This explains why under the most intensely STRESSFULcircumstances, such as project deadlines at school or work,another fight with youre hot-headed boss, or you an yoursignificant other havent exactly been seeing eye-to-eye lately,your sex drive PLUMMETSlower than if youd just discoveredthose naked pictures grandpa took of grandma on their lastvacation!

    center, they pretend theyre in the ring and actually VISUALIZEtheir opponent infront of them while using all of the dirty tricks they have in their bag. They usetheir knees, elbows, fists, head buttsANYTHINGat their disposal, to inflict asmuch DAMAGEas possible on their enemy.

    So heres how YOUcan use this same type of training to unleash new levels ofanabolic hormones without finding yourself doing time in the local prison fendingoff prospective boyfriends in the showers

    Hunkering down in your cubicle all day long lifting that pencil 1,000 times will

    have as much chance at raising your T-levels as you have at impressing thatbrunette at the bar with your belching skills.

    To get maximum testosterone output from your land down under and watchyour muscles balloon like a cartoon, youll need to give your body a good enoughREASONto work harderand that means lifting MUCHheavier weights than thegirls over in the aerobics class.

    In fact, one study suggests that you need to lift between 70% - 80%of themaximum amount of weight you can lift for ONE REPETITIONto get theGREATESTboost in testosterone levels.

    Havent yet dared to risk a barbell crashing down on your chest to determine your1-rep max? Dont worry! Theres a SIMPLEway to help you figure it out withouthaving to update your will.

    Heres what to do

    1. Use the chart on the following page to determine your 1-REP MAXbylooking up the WEIGHTyou normally lift for your compound exercises(bench press, squats, pull downs, etc.) on the LEFT SIDE, while lookingacross the TOPfor the number of REPSyoure normally able to performuntil youve reached muscular failure (without assistance) for that

    In order for construction workers to continue building a house, they need an

    endless supply of nails. If they run out of nails, they end up hanging around theVolvo talking to your 16-year old daughter while waiting for more supplies!

    Same goes for your body. In order to continue to crank out a steady flow ofTESTOSTERONE, your body is going to need a steady flow of NUTRIENTS.Going for long periods of time without a meal will shut off the supply line thatensures raw materials are available to be turned into testosterone.
