Strategies and Tactics Make Local People Aware of Problems

In addition to the pet of the week in the Anniston Star, add a small section in the Sunday paper showing more pets. Also have a couple of paragraphs expressing problems with food and cleaning supplies and ask for the communities help with donations. Update website to show possible donors exactly where their money will begoing.

Bring Pets to the Publico Have an event on the square in Jacksonville and one in Oxford where the animals are

brought to the public. People will be able to see and interact with the animals hopefully creating a bond. This event will be publicized in all the local papers and through flyers. This will only be for animals who travel well.

Seek Donationso Set up donations bins at stores such as Pet Smart to receive items such as food and treats

Seek Volunteerso Contact area schools. Certain students may need community service hours and

may be willing to do them at the animal shelter. This will help with lack of employees and the lack of money to pay employees.

Evaluation

Through spending a small amount of money throughout the year, positive feedback will occur.

People affected will either adopt or donate. More animals will be adopted decreasing costs

of cleaning and feeding. Through students yearly volunteer work, salary

money will be saved. Look at Annual Reorts
