Develop subject guides• Develop 2 pilot subject guides

– Scandinavian Studies– Health Education

• After completing the guide the student should:– Be familiar with the bibliographical sources within the subject – Be able to identify, analyse and critically evaluate

information resources, where to find them and how to use them

• The pilot project started this summer, and will be completed in 2007

Part 4: Future

Make VIKO accessible for students with disabilities

• Web accessibility – people with disabilities can perceive, understand, navigate,

and interact with the Web. – Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), part of the World Wide

Web Consortium (W3C)

• VIKO accessible for all using WAI recommendations – accessibility statement – Review all VIKO web pages – Include users with disabilities in usability testing
