Our prayer-filled wishes and greetings for the New Year 2005.
May this year bringpeace, prosperity and joy in your life. May the
Almighty help you eradicate yourshortcomings, remove the obstacles
of your path and pave the way for your all-round progress.
We are all aware that, on December 26, 2004, Tsunami waves
triggered by a giganticoceanic earthquake have created havoc in
South-Asian countries, including SouthIndia and Anadaman &
Nicobar Islands. Although our Gurusattas and the invisibleseers and
sages residing in the Himalayas are ceaselessly engaged in penance
forthe welfare of the world, we request all our parijans also to
contribute theirmite to help the affected people. Our branches at
Madurai, Vijaywada and Hyderabadhave started rescue and relief
operations. Medicines and food packets worth lakhsof rupees are
being distributed daily in the affected areas. At Shantikunj, we
areoffering special oblations daily so that the aftereffects of
this disaster couldbe minimized and the affected people get inner
strength to cope with the tragedy

that has struck them.
The youth of this generation are our greatest hope and strength.
It is they whoare in living touch with the realities and challenges
of the present age. TheMission has, therefore, planned to celebrate
the 80th year of its life, beginningfrom Vasant Parva 2005 as the
year for spiritual awakening of the youth ofhumanity for carrying
forward our Yug Nirman campaign for regeneration andtransformation
of humanity in accordance with the Truth and Light of
supramental
realm of consciousness.
We have already taken first halting steps in this direction by
organizing during2004 youth conventions in USA at Harrisburg,
Chicago and Los Angeles followed bysimilar conventions in various
parts of India. In this series, a youth camp willbe organized in
August 2005 at the Mission s Headquarters, Shantikunj. About 400
young men and women are expected to participate in this camp.
Persons desirous ofparticipation may contact Abroad Cell in
Shantikunj. We propose to accelerate themomentum of this effort
throughout this year so that more and more youth (men andwomen)
join our campaign of integral transformation of the collective
subconsciousand conscious levels of human psyche.
We have established Dev Sanskriti Vishwa Vidyalaya (DSVV) at
Hardwar, as a
nurturing center for integral growth and training of the leaders
of new humanity.The DSVV held its first convocation on November 8,
2004, with the Vice Presidentof India, Sri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat,
as our Chief Guest. 340 young men and womenreceived their degrees /
diploma certificates after completion of their 2-yearprograms in
various disciplines followed by 3 6 months internship training.
They have gone out as torchbearers of our holy crusade for ushering
in the GoldenEra of awakened awareness of unity, understanding and
peace. Fifty of them took avow to wholly devote the first five
years for the furtherance of this Mission s work. This historic
moment is the outcome of the sadhana of thousands of sadhaksand the
generous contribution of all our parijans. In the mean time, the
bhoomipujan of the International Hostel (a pentagonal building) has
been done in DSVVpremises. The construction is proposed to be
completed within a record time of 8months.
Our hope and faith for an enlightened and ennobling human life
on earth hinge uponthe youth of this generation. The clarion call
of the Time-Spirit (Mahakal) isloud and clear: Wake up, the youth
of the world, and join the ranks of thewarriors for the decisive
triumph of the divine forces of Truth, Love, Unity andPeace over
the asuric hordes of the devil falsehood, hatred, division and
strife. Let the youth become the catalytic agents to help and guide
humanity ingladly and readily accepting and assimilating the
message of the Time-Spirittowards this revolutionary paradigm shift
in human consciousness. This call isalso addressed to our Parijans
(of whatever age) with youthful and vibrant souls.
